We’ve gotten so deep into the Stephen Curry hate that people are rewriting the 2016 season. Think about that for a second. He had the greatest offensive season in NBA history, broke the three-point record, and led his team to 73–9, the best record ever, while sitting most fourth quarters. And he did it with insane efficiency. He was so unbelievable that you couldn’t even go to the bathroom during games, you’d be scared to miss something. That’s how great he was. That season was so unreal, it didn’t just change the game, it redefined how basketball is played, how teams draft, and how we evaluate players. Think about that. And that’s why he was a unanimous MVP, you couldn’t even give a pity vote to anyone else. It was that clear.
