As much as I would love PlayStation to reverse course on the physical games issue, I don't think they will. No matter how much negative feedback they get. I feel like this was set in motion because PS6 will be digital only.

I think it's extremely depressing that Sony is shutting down the only way to officially play so much of their history. There are so many games on the PS3 store that have ONLY been rereleased here and never again. This is why game preservation is important

@realradec I would like to bring up the Final Fantasy 13-2 DLC episodes.
This is an important one as the DLC is apart of the main story, meaning that the game is literally incomplete without it.

Tokyo Jungle prices on Mercari currently. This is a game that is just going to be flat out impossible to get when the PS3 and Vita stores close, and it’s one of my favourite PS3 titles. I snapped up one for just 800JPY (5USD) so if you’re able do I’d do the same and do so FAST.

Why are we okay with no physical releases on PC, but not on console? I genuinely think discontinuing physical media is a very bad thing, but why is our outlook on it so different between PC and console?
