Without the intervention of the IGP, the Police would have ordinarily detained her over a case of this nature! A very rotten institution.
Inibehe Effiong@InibeheEffiong

Ms. Love Dooshima, the businesswoman who made a review about an unarmed bread has just been released from police custody at Zone 7 Police Headquarters. Bon Bread lodged a complaint to the police against her. We received a distress call this night that she honoured police invitation since 12pm on Monday, April 20, 2026 but she was detained afterwards. I came to Zone 7 this night along with @p_oruche and @Peter4Nigeria. Following the intervention of the IGP, @TunjiDisu1, she has been released at 12:30 AM today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026. We will be back by daybreak. Cc: @aleeygiwa

JAMB had to lie those children weren’t going to write jamb when they were kidnapped. The students had to come out on media with their jamb slips to show JAMB LIED‼️ Even Jamb is working for Tinubu and defending the APC We can’t continue like this 📍

Yesterday's Advocates of democracy, Today's Oppressor of the Press Nigeria is drifting dangerously. At a time when our nation should be strengthening its vital democratic institutions, we are witnessing a pattern that shows the opposite. The recent notice by the National Broadcasting Commission, especially at this critical time of the general elections, is very troubling. A free and responsible media should not be an enemy to any administration, especially one that claims to have fought for democracy. The media is the conscience of the nation. Attempting to stifle voices, moderate opinions, or intimidate journalists under the guise of regulation only weakens our already fragile democracy. Institutions are not built to serve governments; they are built to serve the people. At a time when insecurity is on the rise, young Nigerians are losing faith in the country, and the economy continues to fail the average citizen. Our focus should not be on controlling media narratives, but on delivering results. Nigeria does not need stronger control. Nigeria needs stronger institutions. I stand in solidarity with Nigeria’s media houses and broadcasters who are standing against this attempt to silence independent voices and restrict free expression. We must return to the path of transparency, accountability, and true independence of all arms and agencies of government. We cannot continue to endanger our democracy. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The person who wrote that nonsense for INEC should be locked up. Joash Amupitan is not a popular name. Do you know that INEC is telling us that someone knew in 2022 that Joash Amupitan will become the INEC chairman, so the person used his full name, phone number, and email address to open an X account. Then in 2023, the person used the account to support Tinubu. Who sees the future? All these just to punish a random professor. Crazy.

The APC continues to muddy the waters with propaganda, violence, and identity politics, deliberately distracting you from what truly matters. They want us divided, angry at one another, so we forget to ask the real questions: Why does a road of 4.52km long cost ₦279 billion and remain uncompleted after 51 months? Why they budget 212 million for 20 office tables and chairs. Or budget N113 million for a generator that costs N16 million, and N20 billion for 40 units of cars. Why is there zero meaningful investment in public housing, while those in power live in palatial mansions funded by the state? Why do residents of Lagos Island lack access to potable water, forced to pay a daily premium just to meet basic needs? Why does the political class spend billions each year on new vehicles for themselves, while citizens are left stranded at bus stops without reliable public transportation? Why, in the midst of global oil shocks and a worsening cost-of-living crisis, did the Lagos State government increase the cost of public transport? Why did it take seven years—reluctantly—for them to even begin addressing public sanitation, after years of a dismissive “go back to your state” approach? Why does Lagos continue to charge a 5% consumption tax without transparent records of annual revenue, despite promises to harmonise taxes after so-called “reforms”? Why have trillions been spent over the past two decades on opaque consultancy services with little to no accountability? Why do they preside over a broken waste management system that pollutes the environment, endangers public health, and discourages tourism? These are the questions that matter, these are the issues that continue to affect you and your loved ones.
