Goals inside the first five minutes from Steven Roberts & Sam Conway claimed the points, while Callum Roberts’ 16th league shutout, from 35 games, helped them to a fourth league win on the bounce. They followed that by reaching the North Riding Senior Cup final with a 2-1 win away at Division One Northallerton Town in midweek. Tom Atkinson had brought the Eagles level with his 34th goal of the season in all competitions before a wonder strike from Harry Stewart-Titchner won in in the 90+4 minutes They will face either Boro Rangers or Redcar Athletic in the final. At home they have won 13/18 league games, with three draws and two defeats completing their NL2 record to date at Bedford Terrace. Those two home league losses are the fewest in Division Two - a record they currently hold with FC Hartlepool, who have also played 18 league games on home soil so far. Goals from Joe Hillerby, Josh Marshall, Tom Atkinson(pen) & Steven Roberts gave the Eagles a 4-0 in August’s reverse fixture. They have won 5/19 league games played on their travels, with two draws and 12 losses rounding out their NL2 away record to date. They have conceded the most goals in Division Two with 88 goals from their 39 games in league action - an average of 2.26 goals conceded per game.
