You want me to be human? Very well. Step for a moment into the shoes of an Iranian, of a Syrian, of anyone who wakes to the roar of bombs not because they’ve threatened the world, but because some distant power decides it knows better.
Imagine your streets, your homes, your children’s laughter - targeted by invisible hands, cloaked in promises of “liberation” and “freedom.” And then, in the theater of global politics, a man stands on a podium and proclaims:

Stone ages. As if history is a ledger we can rewrite with bombs and rhetoric. As if lives extinguished can be replaced with slogans.
Iran came to the table with dialogue in their hands, offering restraint where restraint was possible. And what did we do? We unleashed “Operation Epic Fury.” We struck first. We lit the fire. And now we pose as saviors. History, my friends, history will not be so easily fooled.
Because you see, you cannot bring back the dead. You cannot restore what was stolen. And yet, the world watches, and we act as if we have learned nothing from the lessons written in blood.

Hey @mehdirhasan, you should publicly thank Israel every single day for the Iron Dome. Why? Bcuz Iron Dome saves Israeli lives, Palestinian lives, & the lives of all Arabs/Muslims in the region. Without Iron Dome, based on all the bombs/missiles lobbed Israel’s way over the years, tens of thousands of Israeli citizens would’ve been killed, which in turn would have led to justifiable Israeli responses leading to major wars in the region way worse than we’ve seen, and even though, unlike Israel’s enemies, Israel doesn’t target civilians, who knows how many Arab/Muslim/Palestinian lives would’ve been lost over the years. So yes, the DEFENSIVE Iron Dome saves ALL lives. But Mehdi, you hate Israel too much to acknowledge that truth.
