Despite the odds & Republican gerrymanders… we started the house in the 118th with 213, flipped a seat, and got to 214 & while we didn’t flip the house for the 119th, we are on track to possibly have 215 members. If NC, who elected Dems statewide, hadn’t redrawn their lines to take the NC delegation from an even 7D-7R to 10R-4D, we’d be the check that the world needs on the Trump administration with Speaker Jeffries. Nevertheless, we are ready to protect democracy and I think I speak for my colleagues when I say that we are truly thankful for our constituents & their trust and faith in us!
