Big Mac is our house dog. That means he has free run of the place. Sadly his life is coming to an end. He might have a week or 2 left. More likely a couple of days. He has full medical care in Tina’s hospital. People are visiting him on their day off. He is never alone. He remains “on guard” outside Alba’s kitchen to the very end. That’s his spot ❤️

This Herdwick, although very stunning is driving me mad with all its curls. I’m very doubtful if I’ll manage to finish this one. Think it’s something really that should be painted or done in pastels where you can layer white over darks. It’s a nightmare in pencils. #art #drawing

We can just call this an ‘alley’ can’t we? 😰 💥😉 And I’m not the only weirdo staring at those bricks for far too long am I? 😍 #BrickLove 🧱♥️ Alley View (Pastel) by Tom Brown (1933-2017)

I poured my absolute heart and soul into it. I want it to be the best thing I’ve ever written. As always I’ll donate every penny to the dogs. It’s out 8th May. You can pre-order here which helps so much 💜🙏 lnk.to/TinaTheDogWhoC…

The book I’ve written was fully finished it after Alba passed I had to talk to the publisher. The deadline is long gone but I couldn’t possibly have a book without Alba in there… (1/3)

It's getting chilly out there!!! Shekhar. Oil on linen. This painting was a big lesson for me in knowing when to stop and that sometimes a painting will paint itself and you shouldn't let yourself get in the way.

What Wodehouse book (or three) do you think should be essential reading for everyone?

H Darlings, have watched The BAFTA's on TV & I'm absolutely appalled that the fabulous Bernard Cribbins was not mentioned in stars that we've lost within the last year, they should be disgusted with themselves, words fail me XxXxX

Scriveners Books in Buxton is always an atmospheric place, but in the winter twilight, with its windows glowing through the rain, it looked pretty perfect. This Victorian building stocks more than 40,000 books over five floors, with creaking steps and hidden nooks and crannies.

It was 1980 when I lucked into a guest star role on a show I'd watched and admired for years. It almost didn't compute, but when the cameras rolled we were all suddenly and magically transported back to that field hospital in Korea and M*A*S*H was real. Go figure. #actorslife
