Residents and businesses are reminded that enforcement of new restrictions preventing unauthorised vehicles from using Gloucester’s historic gate streets goes live on 5 January. This is to make the area safer and more welcoming. Permits can be issued to traders to avoid fines.

@GlosRoads Why do Gloucester cut hundreds of trees down , when other councils plant them, for heavens sake get rid of the useless councillors, they have not got a clue

We’ve been working with the landowner who owns the trees on the A436. During Storm Darragh many trees came down forcing the road to close. Work to remove the remaining trees will take place 14-17 April and 22 April. Temporary traffic lights will be used so access is maintained.

UPDATE - The #Tewkesbury A38 cycleway surfacing works will be extended until the end of January for completion, all traffic management will be removed over the Christmas period. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Last week we also cleared 2,866 drains 🍂 During Storm Darragh we received 480 emergency calls 🌧️ And every week we're resurfacing roads across the county 🚗
