@WesElyMD I was sick w/ Covid at the beginning of the pandemic for 3 months. After getting vaxed & boosted I caught it again 13 weeks ago & I am still recovering. By all means, get vaccinated, but do not think that it prevents Long Covid. We need mask mandates & better ventilation.

I’m a little over my birth year being printed on programs. It’s always awkward when I’m asked too. It feels archaic and unnecessary… I mean, I don’t think I could be confused for being a composer from any other time… Just seems… outdated? No pun intended. Am I buggin’?

While governments & media market Covid as a mild but pesky little cold that leaves you a bit sleepy before you recover in full 10 days later, people are ending up disabled, with permanent organ damage, requiring mobility aids. It’s *life-changing.* No, it doesn’t just go away.

Over the last two decades, more school-age children have died from guns than on-duty police officers and active duty military combined. Think about that. For God’s sake how much more carnage are we willing to accept?
