Last wednesday, our work on mechanochemical scalable CO₂ valorisation was recognised as a featured article in the field of chemistry developed in Asturias by the @STAsturiasRSEQ
The awarded publication:
“Scalable Main Group Mechanocatalytic CO₂ Valorisation to Cyclocarbonate Species” (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2025)
demonstrates an efficient and greener approach to CO₂ conversion, combining mechanochemistry and main group catalysis under mild conditions, with high yields and scalability.
This recognition highlights the collaborative effort of all co-authors (@FGarcia_Group @lucilu_o13 @MartaEGMosquera, C. Whiteoak, F. Winkelmann and M. Felderhoff) and the strong research activity being developed in @UOquimicaOI in the field of mechanochemistry.
