Impel Down: Arc Review ⛓️🔥 (It's a long one)
Score: 9/10
Luffy's solo adventure continued in this arc but ended up becoming the most unlikely reunion of former villains in the show to form a SICK jailbreak crew!! 😎
This arc had sooo many great moments seeing old faces and meeting some new ones, built the tension of the (assumingly) upcoming war and was just overall a really fun concept to watch unfold in a multi-layered prison!

First off, the structure of Impel Down felt very "Dante's Inferno" inspired to me with the different descending floors of punishment. VERY COOL! It also makes for a very enjoyable watch with each floor having different themes, villains, etc
Early on we gotta give it up to Boa Hancock she's the MVP here, Luffy would have had a much slimmer chance of breaking in if it wasn't for her. Still need to see a bit more of her but so far I think she's on my good list
The jailer lady, Domino, please hit my line 😩
We got to see Buggy again which I was so excited about!! He was MUCH funnier than I remember but his constant banter with Luffy was great, and I actually REALLY ended up loving the Mr 3/Buggy duo so much. I gotta say though Buggy in this arc was straight fraud city 😭😭 Seeing the other Baroque Works members was really cool and everyone teaming up is just such a great concept
CROCODILE coming back was a top 3 highlight in the arc holy, I think he's reclaimed my #1 villain spot over Enel again. He just has so much aura in everything he does. What a guy. I really hope he stays a frequent character 🐊
Magellan is a BEAST of a villain, I kinda wish they didn't give him the goofy bathroom trait because without that I think he would've been an absolute demon character. Still was sick though and gave Luffy one of his worst losses so far (The fact Luffy needed a MIRACLE to recover is kinda wild)
Bon Clay... what a legend. Liked him since Alabasta, love him even more now. True definition of a ride-or-die. His entrance as Zoro was so funny. His character arc in these episodes was amazing: Instantly helps Luffy, shows weakness when he runs from Magellan, persists that Luffy pulls through the recovery and then makes the ultimate sacrifice for him in the end (again). OKAMA WAY 🥲❤️ RIP TO A REAL ONE (if he's even dead who knows with this show)
Finding out Ivankov is close to Dragon was a crazy twist! Dragon feels so mysterious in this story so far, I am very curious to see what his impact is actually going to be going forward
Jinbei seems like a freaking GOAT, and was great to finally meet him after arcs of him being mentioned. His powers are GREAT, and his reasoning for not wanting Whitebeard to be in a war makes a lot of sense. I wanna know why he's called the "First Son of the Sea" 🤔 I also really liked how he was a voice of reason to Luffy a lot near the end of this arc, he seems very level-headed. Curious to see what him and the other warlords do during this war since a lot of them don't seem interested in fighting at all lol
The tension rising with Ace is gonna give me a damn heart attack man, Luffy missed Ace by like a few minutes!!! WTF! They need to get on with saving him cuz my anxiety is spiking every time they show him. If Luffy would challenge the world government for Nico Robin I don't even wanna know what he'll do to free Ace (I also REALLY want to see Ace in full-power mode)
Lastly, Blackbeard reuniting with Luffy was a fuckin' insane scene. Luffy smacked his ahh without hesitation too YESSIR. One big thing here that I forgot to post about when I saw it was that Blackbeard mentioned Luffy using Haki when they first met, he said something like "Your haki is stronger than before"... which they've only met once on Jaya. Interesting lil point they tossed in there, curious to know what that entails or even WHAT THE HELL IS HAKI STILL 😭 lol
That one former warden guy Shiryu of the Rain is a straight psychopath lmao, but also had one of those 21 O-Wazamono swords like Zoro, I noticed that!
And all the other straw hats I guess are just not gonna be part of this war...?

So many great moments in this arc, think I covered the ones I thought were most important. Only reason I gave a 9 instead of 10/10 is because some moments felt a bit repetitive of the characters just constantly running away or running to other places. Not a huge gripe but something I noticed multiple times that I felt was worth evaluating in my review!
My next review video will be Amazon Lily/Impel Down together :) Probably out end of next week!
Again, another PEAK arc from this show and am excited (yet extremely anxious) for what Marineford brings next. Onward we go... 😬⛵️

Cabinet yesterday approved additional Visa Waiver Agreements for Antigua and Barbuda, the Maldives and Zambia.
The agreements cover holders of all categories of passports from ordinary, service to diplomatic.
Ghanaians and citizens of the three countries can embark on a maximum of 30-day visits per trip without requiring visas.
Parliament is expected to ratify the cabinet approvals shortly.
We shall keep negotiating more Visa Waiver Agreements as we add greater value to the Ghanaian Passport, and at the same time enhance security protocols around acquiring Ghanaian Passports.
For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
