@NetworkChuck Also, it's not setting a maximum character limit as far as I can see.

I could be wrong, as I'm involved more with infrastructure than with code, but my best guess is that "amount" can be a string (it's later converted to float) and unexpected data converted from string to float with a payload could utilize a vulnerability chain to expose the system.
