From Swanage the 40 took me around to Poole. From views back to Swanage, aerial views of Corfe Castle, and finally Poole Harbour, this is another delightful route on a day like today! Unlike the 50 though, I don’t think this one ever sees open toppers

Caught a few slightly unusual things first at Shepherds Bush due to a faulty train 377703 is seen heading to east Croydon but arriving on P2. then doing a non stop journey between Clapham junction and Twickenham but Via Hounslow due to planned works and signal problems and 710s

@joey_wanders It's only when you have a split ticket that you need to call there Via points it just has to go via that route

@trainlifegb This is a booked working I believe there another in the morning as well as the set is stabled in Staines CHS

455s are trying to reach Windsor again. Though SWR are making them go only as far as Staines. First 458/4s then the 455s? Maybe they aren't trying to get rid of the 455s... Oh well, interesting nonetheless.

SWR 458408+458405 at Richmond and Feltham while out on services between London Waterloo to Windsor and Eton Riverside making it the first 458/4 set to do a Windsor service
