Henry Nowak’s case is worse than you think - 60 of the 67 minutes which he spent dying in the street were in the custody of police officers. They broke basic rules of policing and PACE, denying him basic first aid and compassion because they falsely believed he was a racist.

Even in sentencing, Vickram Digwa--who stabbed Henry Nowak five times then lied and told the police Nowak called him a racist name--is receiving preferential treatment. Because the knife he used to commit the murder was supposedly a Sikh ceremonial blade, his starting sentence is fifteen years LESS than any white murderer would receive. It's racism upon racism, partiality upon partiality.
