Gambling site BetOnline.ag makes Paolo Banchero a 3/1 favorite to be 2022-23 Rookie of the Year. Odds on Shaedon Sharpe are 25/1 and TyTy Washington, Jr. 66/1.

Since the NBA went to a two-round draft in 1989, UK now has had 45 first-round picks. Duke is second with 44. UK's overall picks rose to 61. Duke now has the most with 62.

Two picks from UK - No. 7 Shaedon Sharpe, No. 29 TyTy Washington, Jr. - equals low in John Calipari's time as coach. Also 2 in 2013 (Nerlens Noel, Archie Goodwin) and 2014 (Julius Randle, James Young).

Two of the other times five players from a team were drafted are Kentucky in 2010 and Florida in 2007.

Duke has had five players drafted. That equals the third most by any team in a NBA Draft since the move to two rounds in 1989. The most is six by Kentucky in 2012 and again in 2015

Added TyTy: "I always bet on myself, so I'm just going to go out there with a chip on my shoulder and remember all the teams that skipped me."

Overall, UK has had 61 players picked in either the first or second round in drafts beginning in 1989. So has Duke. That's heading into tonight's second round.

Two first-round picks equals third fewest in Cal's time as coach. There was one in 2011 (No. 8 Brandon Knight) and 2021 (No. 22 Isaiah Jackson).

Other UK players in the Cal area taken 29th are Daniel Orton (2010), Marquis Teague (2012), Archie Goodwin (2013) and Keldon Johnson (2019).

Memphis takes TyTy Washington, Jr., with the 29th pick of the first round.
