i was thinking about this performance yesterday while sitting in the gershwin theatre. it’s rare to find someone today who is seemingly just as kind as he was talented, as evidenced by all of today’s tributes. there will never be another like gavin creel.

RIP to the Broadway greats Gavin Creel and Ken Page. Creel made audiences weep with joy in Hello, Dolly, while the legendary Page originated astounding roles in Ain't Misbehavin' and Cats. Both men delivered the electric joy that only musical theater provides

The other huge miscue was nothing for Lorin Latarro, whose fabulous choreography in TWO shows this spring was inarguably among the greatest achievements of the year. I just love her work.
