Disheartened re: HCPC price rises. When I qualify, I'll have HCPC and RCSLT fees, 2 student loans & travel to pay. I've already spent thousands on uni & placement travel, books etc. I study SLT because I love it, but in a cost of living crisis, it doesn't seem fair 😪

The focus of the day is on developing our diagnostic skills using objective measures and the management choices that may follow. This is not to be missed and a fabulous opportunity for meeting up with other Voice clinic professionals! Hope to see you there.

When your tracheostomy patient is weaning beautifully, but then suddenly has new onset swallowing problems it's best to ask your friendly SLT to have a look. It might just be that the NJT is wrapped around the patient's epiglottis!! Easy win!! More FEES trained SLT please.
