Congratulations to these Crusaders who committed to play athletics at the collegiate level this afternoon! They will be playing a wide variety of sports at colleges across the country. We’re so proud of these amazing student-athletes, and we can’t wait to see what they do next!

We’re grateful for the outstanding community members who joined us for Social Justice Week, including JHS alumni! We welcomed back Kevin Barton ’95, Dominic Del Bosque ’97, JJ Gonzales ’97 and Sarah Scott ’03, who shared their experiences working in criminal justice.

Today kicked off Social Justice Week focusing on Criminal Justice. Keynote speaker Ethan Thrower urged students to see the humanity in others and advocate for criminal justice system reform. Students also attended workshops led by their peers and faculty.

Today we celebrated Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. In Lent, we recall the waters of baptism in which we were baptized into Christ's death, died to sin and evil, and began new life in Christ. With you and your light, Lord of mercy and forgiveness, we never walk alone.

February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements and vibrant cultural contributions of Black Americans. On Tuesday, Jesuit’s Black Student Union hosted Black History trivia during Flex, covering historical events, pop culture, sports, and more.

Freshmen participated in the annual Jesuit Refugee Services “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” activity to deepen their understanding of human migration. As part of their World History curriculum, students explored the challenges refugees face and began learning how to support them.

Youth Charity League’s Pie Drive at Jesuit is THIS WEEKEND! We invite you to donate pumpkin pies which will be delivered to local non-profits that provide free Thanksgiving meals to people experiencing food insecurity.
