13 years ago, I stole my neighbor's dog. As a puppy, she was left in their back yard with no shelter, no food and no water. She was neglected in a way no living thing should. In the dark of night, I would take her food and water. It didn't take long for the starving baby to solely sit beside the fence we shared. One night, I went out, unwove the chain link enough to pull her through, and took her away from those awful people. Eight ball, as they called her, was renamed April.

He rushed into the flames to save a tiny life The puppy survived, and instead of ending up alone, he found the best home of all — with the hero who carried him out. Now safe, loved, and forever part of the family ❤️
