Mr. Rousseau is expressing what millions of Canadians who don’t know french and have tried to learn it feel. What I am tired of is that a few elites (in Ontario primarily) get to tell the 80% of Canadians who don’t speak french fluently that we need to sit on the sidelines. It’s time for a conversation about what 2 official languages actually means. What’s transpired over the last few days is not about the communication or language but about control.

@eliasmakos Forcing language purity tests cheapen the whole thing. The focus should be on the victims, the investigation and support for the families affected. This kind of hypersensitivity is EXHAUSTING and SOOOOO typical of the political left.

An Air Canada plane crashes, resulting in the deaths of two pilots. Over on Radio-Canada, the "conservative" on the panel is having a fit that the Air Canada CEO didn't speak French in his video and demands his resignation over it. Someone should let these people on the panel

@eliasmakos To be befuddled by this only shows a misunderstanding of Québec history. For hundreds of years we have been told to "speak white". Receiving an Eng-only msg when one of the pilots was French Canadian only shows how little has changed and that this is a daily fight for respect.

@Jimimore Oh je sais comment mais je les gardes ont sait jamais. Jai un enfant et je compatis avec les familles touchées. Juste de mettre mon cell sur ne pas déranger avant de dormir sa la rend silencieuse. Mais la jai pass out sur le divan et jai oublié 🥲

Montreal just sent another nuclear level amber alert at 4 AM for a kidnapping that happened at 9 PM, waking up the entire city for something nobody that was asleep will be able to help with. What is the point of this system?

La majorité des écoliers anglophones fréquentent des écoles primaires d'immersion françaises (66% français sur 7 ans) ou ou bilingues (50%).
