My dear dad had a heart attack yesterday. The ambulance came within 30 minutes & he received good care at FGH & was then transferred to Blackpool where he is stable & on a waiting list for a bypass operation. No doubt at all that the NHS saved his life. Hoping for the best. 🙏

Christmas Eve, this time of year is horrendous for bereaved parents. This year I have my 2nd born in my arms, warm and safe, but my heart yearns for my little girl who was so cruelly taken from us. She should be 18 months old and excited for Christmas with her little brother💔

@Laurenncaul We will be doing exactly the same on Sunday and on Christmas Eve will leave a mince pie for Santa and a carrot it’s terribly sad but they’ll always be part of our Christmas sending love to you xxx

Our little girl is all ready for Christmas🎄🎅 I was thinking today just how crazy it is that this is our normal, it’s so far from actual normal but for us, decorating her little grave is part of our Christmas tradition now, even though it never should have been.

@JoSimms72 @wesstreeting North Wales families have lost babies too due to neglect at BCUHB hospitals We all need to be heard @wesstreeting there are far too many of us now to ignore or brush it under the carpet.

It’s not just Nottingham it is families up and down the country all of us losing babies through dangerous and clinical neglect. We all need to be heard @wesstreeting

@RMatthewsPsyEdu @wesstreeting @DOckendenLtd We really do, it’s heartbreaking. So actually @wesstreeting ALL harmed families of unsafe maternity services have a right to be heard by government not just those in Nottingham. We are united in grief.

@RMatthewsPsyEdu @wesstreeting I guess the resource isn’t there for any more @DOckendenLtd reviews. But just because an area hasn’t had an independent review does not mean there aren’t the exact same issues causing preventable deaths and destroying families

@JoSimms72 @wesstreeting I don’t doubt it 😢😢. The harm in Oxfordshire is widespread (& historical)- we have a group of 104 people harmed by maternity services in the county. The ban on maternal request caesarean births & the prioritisation of ‘normal birth’ has caused so much preventable harm.

@RMatthewsPsyEdu @wesstreeting @OUHospitals If there was a review into Leicester ( I have the statistics) we would be on the scale of Nottingham. This is a national scandal.
