The safety of the Pacoima community is our top priority as we learn more about the downed plane at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store on Van Nuys Boulevard. My office is working with Councilwoman Rodriguez’s office, LA County Public Works, and LADWP to address the ongoing nearby power outages. I have called on Public Works to provide updates to surrounding community members. I look forward to receiving information from the National Transportation Safety Board as they conduct their investigation.

I have complained to LADWP a few times regarding a high water bill, ( only after my plumber does a detailed check of the property, rarely an issue ). LADWP won't even come out to inspect . Even if the bill is 3 times the normal bill. LADWP attitude is " You are crazy until proven otherwise " .

I’ve supported Donald Trump. I still support a lot of his policies. But this week I have to be honest — and if you know me, you know I’m going to tell it like it is no matter who it offends. Trump went on Truth Social and called Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones low IQ and stupid. I know Tucker personally. He is neither of those things. None of them are. Then Trump posted an image of himself that looked like Jesus Christ — and had to take it down. I’m a Christian. I can’t stay quiet on that. I’m also going to give you my honest take on Iran, Netanyahu, and why Trump desperately needs a real consigliere — not a yes man. The mob got that part right. This isn’t me turning on Trump. This is me calling it like I see it.

When 3rd District Supervisor Horvath took office December 2022 first on her agenda was to remove 4 sworn deputies from LASD WEHO station and replace them with 33 unarmed security guards. Crime spike by approximately 148% with close to 50% being Part 1 crimes; murder, rape and the likes. Horvath to this day opposes public safety. It’s time to FIRE Horvath and vote for me, TONIA AREY for LA County Supervisor 3rd District Ballots mailed out May 4th.
