Father Tonight, we lift up our brother and his beloved wife who is battling sepsis in the hospital. Lord, We ask in the name of Jesus Christ for healing to flow through her body, cleansing the infection, strengthening her immune system, and restoring her health. Comfort her and grant strength to our brother as he worries and waits at her side. Surround them, protect them, and let Your presence be felt in her hospital room. We trust in You, Your mercy, and Your healing power. Father, We know You can turn this around for them. Thank You, Lord, for hearing us, for being near to them in this difficult time, and for the miracles You perform each day. We pray for healing, for strength, and recovery. In Jesus' name

I'm sorry for claiming to surrender everything, while still clinging to my own plans. I'm sorry for thanking You in prayer but forgetting to live with gratitude.
