@MattTestifies 1. Are you saying that Scripture doesn't teach things by inference? For instance, if I read a passage that tells me Jesus forgives all the sins of a man He just met (in other words, who had not sinned against Him personally), Mark 2:5 ....

When God created the Earth is one of the most useless things for Christians to bicker over.
God exists outside of our concept of “time.” We have no idea how long the 7 days of creation were.
It doesn’t matter when he made the universe, just THAT HE MADE IT.

@jaredadairbell The nature of God is fundamental to the discussion of how we get back to God. We cannot be saved if Jesus is the not the second Person of the Trinity. We could have no assurance if He wasn't the eternal Son of God.

This is why the missionary discussions are so important.
The nature of God, to me, is far less important than HOW we get back to God and obtain eternal life.

10:30 PM. I was just hanging string lights over a gate & into a cypress tree when I fell off the ladder, hitting my left hip on a large rock. Man did that ever hurt. It’s okay. I’m fine. But at 69, I really need to re-think climbing ladders at night - or any other time. Sheesh.

My fav clip is where @conservmillen admits out loud that attempts to explain the Trinity always end with the logical conclusion of 3 separate divine beings.
The big mystery of the Trinity is why you guys force others to accept the illogical formula or condemn them to hell.
