Things change quickly in football The club are only prepared to offer a short term deal until the end of the season. He, on the other hand, is pushing for something longer term, more in the region of 2/3 years. Right now, they appear some way apart. Unless one side softens their stance, this one looks difficult to get over the line. #WBA

8 years of Ian Peace. 8 years of decline. Does he scout & buy the players? Or does he just sort out the contracts when a player has already been chosen? No idea. Maybe something in between. Either way, recruitment has been awful under him & needs a complete overhaul. #wba

My thoughts as well I think. Don’t need a new head coach bringing in a whole new back room team. Time is simply not our side at the moment. I also think cost is going to be an issue with PSR and us paying off Mason and Ramsay. The less upheaval the better #wba

@uber_foods Darren Moore & Paul Robinson to supports him for me. Robbo has worked under a few coaches in the championship. He was on Ben Foster’s podcast a couple of years ago & came across really well. All 3 would have the majority of the fans backing which is important at this point.

Would like to see somebody come in to assist Mozza. An older, wiser head perhaps. I know Mozza and Hodgson remain friendly, let’s hope Jimmy feels he can call on the advice of Roy if he needs it. #wba

@CJHall83 Just caught up on the latest pod Chris. AG & confidence. Watch his joining interview. Very quiet, very timid. No surprises he makes a mistake & his head goes. And who is to blame. Nestor, Pearce & recruitment. If we’d spent the £10m better, they’d have made Mason look good.

I find this very concerning. Ian Pearce does not have a good record & I’m led to believe his key influence has been in domestic deals where our record is very poor. We needed to strengthen this area of the club not double down on a man who appears to have largely failed! #wba
