The Biden Administration has now determined that "gender affirming care" - including puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries - is a right of trans youth and "appropriate" and "necessary" for their health.
The Biden Justice Department will come after states that disagree.

This is the road you go down when you dip your toe into biological determinism. Intersex and non-binary people have existed for many centuries, as has been documented in historical records. Competitive US swim meets have, uh, not. But look what gets naturalized by reactionaries.

Ask yourself this: Does eliminating a competitive advantage in a few sporting events trump the inclusion of trans kids/people in society, which would hopefully lead to wider acceptance of hormone therapy, smoothing out any potential competitive advantages?
It shouldn’t be close.
