My procedure corrects a flaw in the current procedure. In the current procedure, police often choose to remove everyone from the plane before removing a possibly violent passenger, presumably for the safety of those on board. This takes an extra two hours, is highly disruptive for passengers, and causes ripple effects such as missed connections, missed appointments, and late arrival at the next airport. The advantage of my procedure is that no one ever needs to deplane.
