Newcastle literally broke the world transfer record. Blackburn literally broke the British transfer record. Between 92-98 Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs, Chelsea and even City outspent United. We were 7th in terms of spend. Summer of 98 we spent loads on Stam and Yorke.
