@vegeebs Tried to cope with their situation & try… perhaps a bit disingenuously, to make everyone happy, all the time. Which came off as being fake or insulting/infantilizing, though it came from genuine kindness & a place of caring.

Id love to be wrong, but… *gestures*, look around, ya’know? Unless all the people standing in the way step down all at once very quickly and all their successors turn out to be really cool/good people, but I don’t really see that happening.

@turtlekiosk The people with the most money & connections right now don’t see potential profit in saving the planet, dont care about what happens after they’re gone, & dont care about “everyone” as a whole… & good people cant outpace the bad impact they’re having… so no. 1/2
