And there it is. This is where the argumentation inevitably leads. “A virgin bride (or groom) isn’t better than a non-virgin”. Pure insanity. Sends the worst possible message. But heaven forbid people with a promiscuous past might be made to feel bad about their sin.

Fornication and something as simple as lying are both sins that are worthy of damnation. A virgin isn’t better than just because she sinned differently than a non virgin before marriage. Both need the gospel and both need their punishment taken by Christ or they’ll be taking it themselves in hell
