@banvenisback i think 8dx was a better game but world is still super fun and Id rather play smth new and refreshing, ik a lot of people feel like this

@kusaannanora Increase distance-based item pulls if there are less players in a room -> Item pulls in 9 to 12 in 12-player rooms(or rooms that arent full) will be more like 8DX and more balanced, no more golden bill close to the pack Would lead to all rooms playing like 24p, much healthier

@tyson_mk8 Its a good game and competitive! I think Nintendo fumbled by making it 24p, which leads to the item system being silly for lower spots in 12p, and its not as comp. as 8DX, but its still good and even has some upgrades. 6v6 and 24p actually feel like the most competitive modes rn

@berdachi I agree that the items for lower spots in <24p rooms rewards the back too much. It feels like you can as many mistakes as you want, in the end you will pull golden bill and get 6th anyways. I think its still competitive, especially very much 6v6, but Nintendo fumbled with 24p

I know mario kart is supposed to be a party game but i hate how uncompetitive world feels in comparison to 8DX. Could’ve been a really good competitive game if the item system was properly balanced and an option for auto trailing was added
