13 million views. Even @ElonMusk commented. Twitter tried to censor it but just wound up exposing (again) the lying nature of climate alarmism. Added bonus: My explanation and warming prediction. junkscience.com/2023/01/milloy…

Consider the source: Kevin Trenberth admitted in the Climategate emails that no one understands energy flows in the atmosphere. Nothing has changed since then. Yet he remains a climate hoaxer anyway.
Jonathan Cohler@cohler

🚨 Three-time @IPCC_CH Lead Author Dr. Kevin Trenberth @NSF @NCAR_Science just called our new paper “ABSOLUTE NONSENSE” in the activist publication Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists WE COULDN'T BE MORE EXCITED! Dr. Trenberth: You once called the inability to close the Earth’s energy budget a “travesty.” What changed? Should we have a real scientific debate on the foundations? Or just call things “absolute nonsense”? YOUR words over the years: • 2009 ClimateGate email: “... we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t.” • 2010 Science paper (w/ John Fasullo @jfasullo): “missing energy” in the climate system that could not be properly accounted for. • 2014 Journal of Climate paper (w/ Fasullo): “...state-of-the-art observations and basic analysis are unable to completely account for recent energy variability at interannual time scales, since they provide either an incoherent narrative or imply error bars too large to make the products useful.” Our new paper Cohler et al. 2026 doi.org/10.5281/zenodo… finishes what you started, Kevin, using basic physics anyone can understand. A few key points: Temperature: NOT the same thing as energy. It is an “intensive property.” When you average temperatures from thousands of drifting Argo floats, whose exact underwater paths are unknown, the result is just a number. It is not a real measure of total energy stored in the ocean. Uncertainty: We prove the real uncertainty is at least ±1 W/m² (more than 5x larger than what your IPCC and recent papers claim). That means today’s official “Earth’s energy imbalance” numbers are scientifically no different from zero. Satellites: The NASA CERES satellite data is quietly adjusted to match these invalid ocean-based calculations.

Trump EPA preparing to waive summer gasoline regulations to ease prices. This will not meaningfully affect air quality. But the current energy crisis should be ended before then. reuters.com/business/energ…

Higher oil prices are raising the price of bottled water in Inda where 70% of the groundwater reportedly is contaminated: "The Iran war has made bottled ‌water in India 11% more expensive after prices of plastic bottles and caps surged, a change that has also erased the benefit of a lower water tax rate Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a few months ago. Clean water is a privilege in the country of 1.4 billion people where researchers say 70% of the groundwater is contaminated." The groundwater contamination claims sounds like bottled water company propaganda, but the price rise is real. reuters.com/sustainability…

Blue states join green groups in lawsuit over Trump EPA rescission of the endangerment finding: "The E.P.A. came out with no new science, no new law or legal precedent that would allow them to walk away from the endangerment finding," said Andrea Joy Campbell, the attorney general of Massachusetts. She is, of course, 100 percent incorrect. The Supreme Court held in the 2022 decision in West Virginia v. EPA that EPA needs express authorization from Congress for major regulatory programs. No such authorization exists for regulating greenhouse gases. nytimes.com/2026/03/19/cli…

Heat waves have dramatically declined in frequency/intensity over the past 90 years, and February 2026 was cooler than February 1998, but none of that discourages AP climate dead-ender Seth Borenstein @borenbears from trying to serve up the Southwestern heat wave as global warming. apnews.com/article/heat-s…

To NYTimes @dgelles: Why do you quote Michael Mann in this story? Do you not know that he has just been sanctioned by a WashDC court for knowingly presenting false information in court and litigating in bad faith on the central issue in his case against @MarkSteynOnline? x.com/JunkScience/st… And let's not forget his multiple false claims, including in court, about being a Nobel prize winner. If Mann can't tell the truth in court, how do you imagine you and your readers can rely on his claims as a climate activist? Embarrassing, dude. nytimes.com/2026/03/19/cli…

Three strikes and WaPo @capitalweather's @BenNollWeather is out, swinging and missing at blaming the Western heat wave on global warming: "Climate change is pushing up average temperatures and increasing the likelihood, severity and frequency of high temperature extremes — like those during this March heat wave — but is it also causing more heat domes?" 1. Not mentioned by Ben is that it is very cold in the East. Emissions of greenhouse gases of course do not explain this pattern, which can only be explained by the term "weather." 2. The polar vortex has apparently been disrupted this winter such that the West has gotten warmer air and the East has gotten colder air. What caused the polar vortex to vary this year is unknown. 3. The Earth's atmosphere is a chaotic non-linear system. Trying to blame the dramatic chaos on slight changes in atmospheric greenhouse gases is absurd. The other day, the Capital Weather Gang felt obliged to explain why it so badly missed Monday's weather forecast calling for heavy thunderstorms. The Gang doesn't need to explain weather misses, but it does owe us an explanation for its nutty Baghdad Bob-like flacking of climate hoax propaganda. washingtonpost.com/weather/2026/0…

Score another for the renovated Washington Post editorial board; this one against the failed Jones Act: "The Trump administration announced on Wednesday that it will suspend the Jones Act for 60 days to reduce fuel prices. It’s a good start... The law has failed to create a thriving domestic shipping industry — and not for lack of trying: It has been in effect for 106 years... Making it easier to transport goods should not be an indulgence the government grants only during an overseas conflict or after a natural disaster, which is the other reason the law is usually suspended. Legislation already exists to repeal this zombie, thanks to Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rep. Tom McClintock (R-California)." washingtonpost.com/opinions/2026/…

Climate hoax at the bottom of the ocean: Ocean changes not greenhouse gases have driven climate change for the last few million years, says new study in Nature: "Key climate shifts in the past 3 million years may have been more heavily influenced by changing ocean temperatures than greenhouse gases, according to analyses of ancient Antarctic ice cores published in two Nature papers. The findings provide new insights into Earth’s past climates." What drives ocean temperatures? The Sun. nature.com/articles/d4158…
