As a new Catholic, what are some prayers I should memorize? I know there's the meal prayer, and the prayer for passing a graveyard - are there any others?

I’ve seen several terrible messages this Easter. This one by Bree, which gives a feeling of superiority to a certain group over others, is also I believe wicked. Please, be careful about your encouragement and encounters with religious influencers.

I’m officially joining the Catholic Church at tonight’s Easter Vigil. Usually, they have about 7 people join. This year, there are 41.

@JustinMTrefney @Spamfromk All of the evidence coalesces together. The observations of planet and star formation and destruction adds to what we can glean about our own planet’s timeline. Localizing and dating fossils with geology is an integral part of biological evolution. Did you not know that?

@JustinMTrefney @Spamfromk Physics is used to describe the formation of planets and stars on a time scale of hundreds of millions of years. Chemistry is used extensively in the analysis of fossils and the geological context they’re found in.

@JustinMTrefney @Spamfromk Yes is it though. You can’t say you don’t reject chemistry and physics and then reject the fossil record and DNA evidence. You’re denying direct empirical evidence in chemical testing, you’re denying that chemistry is fundamentally accurate.
