You’re talking about to register to vote that the bill, and you’re right. Do you know what the reason is? Because to board a plane or buy alcohol you don’t need to be a citizen, but you do need to be a citizen to vote. That’s why! I can’t believe how difficult it is for people to understand this. If you’re required to be a citizen to vote, then you should be required to prove you’re a citizen to register to vote. Right???

Republicans keep saying you need ID to buy a beer or board a plane but keep leaving out that the IDs you use to do those things aren’t accepted under the SAVE America Act. They’re lying because it’s a voter suppression bill — not a voter ID bill.
