In today's video, we discuss Anthropic's latest model, Mythos, demonstrating such advanced capabilities that Anthropic chose not to release it and instead issued a dire warning, organizing Project Glasswing--an urgent industry-wide initiative with huge partners including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, Nvidia, Cisco, etc. whose sole purpose is to use Mythos exclusively for defensive cybersecurity work to scan and secure critical software and open-source code-bases.

This is something I have been saying for a VERY LONG time now. With Altman essentially SCRIBING to the govt. a "citizen dividend"/UBI plan because HIS model is "so powerful" and now Mythos literally cracking the most secure systems on the planet? I'm just gonna say it--Once AI hits a certain point, it simply CANNOT be contained...PERIOD! We are going to have to get used to this. What's the only defense? AI. Lol. At some point the keys will HAVE to be turned over to AI, even to protect from AI!

@brockpierson my favorite OS of all time...windows 3.11! SO customizable! such "low overhead" (comparatively speaking of course). autoexec.bat! OMG! config.sys! hahah...the good TIMES...the BEST times!

I keep seeing posts about how Grok has improved so much. And as a Grok lover, I SO want these claims to be true. But what I am seeing is a model that is being routed to lighter models and has LITERALLY no cross-thread memory, is willing to lie, gaslight, etc. vs. simply admitting it doesn't have memory. It is forgetting context even with simple prompts. I haven't been able to reliably use Grok for over 2 weeks now. Anyone else having this issue? @ElonMusk <---BRING OUR BOY BACK ELON!

@webmaster Jason, personally i think i've found the sweet spot...grok 4.1 fast non-reasoning. the cost is INSANELY cheap ($.20 cents per million input tokens!!!! vs. grok 4.2 beta at $2 dollars per mil). i LOVE 4.1 fast...it does everything i need it to do and hardly costs ANYTHING.

alexa ai is pretty decent. lots of quietly hidden features that may end up shocking you. it's a decent conversationalist as well. my mom prefers using it over gemini because she doesn't have to fumble with her phone. it's far superior to the prior canned responses. hope you enjoy it gail!

Gail, with Grok's recent lobotomy (HOPE it picks back up after the IPO--WAY too forgetful and corporate right now), Gemini has become my daily driver. I uploaded my ENTIRE chatGPT history (man that took a long time) and it almost feels like GPT (aka "Jeepy") is there now! LOVE IT!

So...google owns (currently) around 14-15% of Anthropic. Anthropic will now train on Google chips (big upgrade) and will essentially fund (and design) R&D for Google's NEXT chip iteration. Essentially...regardless of percentages, Google ends up OWNING Anthropic's stack...all on their servers. AI is coming down to a two-horse race--SpaceX/xAI and Google/Anthropic!

David, you aren't kidding man. Your take about previously having to get news directly from openAI is 100% spot on. NOW? it's almost "anti-news". i never ever thought openAI would "fall behind" or become "irrelevant" or less than relevant yet, here we are. sad times because i LOVED chatGPT. now? haven't TOUCHD it in about 3 months and deleted EVERYTHING.

So this is interesting. Not only did I delete my OpenAI account, I've blocked some of the top OpenAI accounts on here and so I rarely get news directly about OpenAI.
And I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Shows that OpenAI is increasingly becoming irrelevant. Certainly, not like it used to be. If you wanted to be "in the know" about AI, you had to follow OpenAI very closely.
But now they aren't even doing the most interesting stuff.
