@8675309jrk The NCAA as an institution deserves some blame as well. They held ultimate control over their athletes, profiting wildly for decades, until the lawsuits came. This is their aftermath as well. They are now trying to fix what they broke, but the cat is out of the bag.

It used to be enough to get an education from a great university … to complete for that university providing you that and then there was a pride that took place in those student athletes to wear the name on the front and not just your name on the back… you had more athletes about team instead of me….but then universities got greedy… had to use it all for massive profits.. and then they abused the national federal student loan programs and sky rocketed their tuition fees and started paying lazy professors who are there to promote their books but have their student aids do everything… at the same time people whispering in kids ears, look what the university is using you for, making them forget they are getting a free education …. So many to blame, but one thing is for sure…. It’s a damn mess..

Genuine question for hardcore $XRP holders: Why would global banks choose to use XRP and in turn, potentially boost its price through the roof, when Ripple holds 34B tokens? If it goes to the wild prices everyone yaps about, Ripple would be the most valuable financial institution in the world. Do we really think banks want to make that happen for the Ripple company’s story? Think about global banks being approached to use XRP, they will do extreme due diligence before using a “cryptocurrency asset” to solve traditional banking by. They will see alllll the retail holders, all the weird riddles, all the theories, ripples holdings , do you think they would accept the proposition to use XRP? Is the utility and benefit to them big enough to just ignore certain things?

@DomMirandaTV I officiated close to 90 varsity boys and girls games this year. Never had this once. Except at the end of a quarter where a team may have held, but moved the ball… inside 1 minute to go to get the last shot. A shot clock is answer to a problem that truly does not exist.

In the 4A State Title game, Crown Point held the ball for a minute plus…. With 5 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. No movement… as deafening boos came down from this Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd. Indiana needs a shot clock and it needs it now.

For the record, this is still a very good number. I don't expect the spring game anywhere to draw well in 2026. They just don't have the same buzz they once did. I'd guess Nebraska's number will still be one of the best in the country for 2026.

Nebraska's announced Red-White spring game attendance is 27,188. It's the smallest spring game crowd since 2000 (22,415).
