But the reality is that the majority of people arriving in small boats are adult males, not children.
The Government's messaging often leaves the impression that every asylum seeker is a vulnerable child fleeing war.
That simply isn't the full picture.
Britain deserves an honest debate based on the facts, not carefully chosen images.
