The weirdest proposal I ever saw was at the end of an AA meeting.
Everyone was gathered around for the little prayer/closing statement, and at the end of it this dude just got down on one knee and proposed. The lady said yes, but looked uncomfortable and embarrassed. Truly odd.

@douglaschu_ Feels like "Intellectual Disability" isn't a term that lends itself well to being used as a slang insult, but people are always looking for new ways to insult each other, so it may follow the same pattern in the next few decades

@douglaschu_ And it's not even the first time it's happened! The old medical terms for different levels of intellectual disability were "Idiot" "Imbecile" and "Moron". That's where those words came from. But they were used as insults so often that it was determined that they needed a new term
