The girls didn’t even stand a chance.

Logan Federico was visiting friends at the University of South Carolina on May 3 when career criminal Alexander Dickey, 30, broke in and shot her before stealing her credit cards and going on a shopping spree.
Dickey had 39 previous arrests and 25 felonies.
Everyone responsible for keeping this man on the streets should be thrown in prison.

The day after Quin Kennedy won the mixed Madison at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome 50th Anniversary weekend as the "female" member of his team, he was on the podium in 5th in the men's international omnium.

Two men won the mixed (male/female) Madison last night at Jerry Baker Velodrome in Washington. The winners, Matti Herz and Quin Kennedy, usually race in the men's field. Mr. Kennedy also races in the nonbinary field, so I guess he was the "female" of his team?🤷♀️

Been receiving tons of messages with girls soccer teams dropping like flies during pre-season.
I hate to say it...but I call it every year.
When coaches program too much too soon, do mindless conditioning with no gradual plan in place, that equals injury.
ACL injuries are not a female problem. They're a LOAD problem.

Whenever a male wins a women's race (every weekend), I get questions about who sponsors @usacycling. Some of the biggest donors to USAC are brothers Steuart and Tom Walton, heirs to the @walmart fortune. Why are the Waltons, the @WaltonFamilyFdn, and the @RunwayNWA Group supporting men in women's cycling?

The entire staff is busy hiding replies and deleting comments on social media channels.
(If you're a woman asking if there's a male in your race, don't expect any response at all.)

Caffeine is bad for kids. As a parent, restrict it. Like many things its use is coming anyway but there’s no need to take your children to a coffee shop. 😉

Knowledge is power. Caffeine intake and energy drink consumption IS A PROBLEM with your high school kids. Better to educate than turn a blind eye. **Not saying caffeine is “bad” but kids and parents need to be educated on safe dosage. Limit to >200mg per day for teens. ☕️

@mboyle1959 a smart parent and a a kid that wants to perform well in their sport...its not hard.
I come from elite level endurance sport. CHO and CAFF are likely a bit over abused there.
a good final quarter of a hcokey or lacrosse game for a HS senior and a little go juice...its a ok.

@mboyle1959 Yes. When a kid plays every minute of a lacrosse game at the end of a long day due to team size, a 1/4 of a Red Bull for the final quarter is fine. They consume no other caffeine in daily life.

It’s a known ergogenic aid. But also very abused in this day and age.

Genuine question for my youth sports (specifically hockey) friends:
When did tryouts move to end of the season/early summer?
They were always just before the season started when I grew up. It makes no sense to me why you wouldn’t want kids to grow & develop & THEN asses them.

Male "Chloe Spritz" (Cole Sprague) says he knew the winner of the [pro women's] Gorge Gravel Grinder would be the one who could "hang on to the pro men for the longest." Wait, what? Are males faster than females or something? Well, anyway - he won! What a brilliant tactician!

My god. I watch the girls faces who come in second and third. Look at their faces. Knowing they should have been first and second. Knowing they lost a GIRLS’ event to a BOY. Make it stop. There must be adults in the room.
