When a client asks for a video editing quote, don’t give a price range—give a specific number. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking, “This price is too high,” “They won’t accept this price,” or “It’s probably outside their budget.” Those are just assumptions you’re making. The client has no idea what price you’re about to quote.
And if a client is going to ghost you, make sure it’s for a reason that’s actually worth it. Think about the clients who have ghosted you in the past. Chances are, many of them would have disappeared regardless of the price you quoted. Some of them probably ghosted you even when you offered a very low rate just to secure the job.
So don’t price your work out of fear. Price it based on the value you provide. Don’t negotiate against yourself before the conversation has even started.

The brief: edit 1 minute of final video that captures the story, energy, and brand identity of JHague Media — matching their aesthetic, pacing, and visual direction.
Here's what I focused on:
→ Syncing the separately recorded audio with precision
→ Matching their branding colors, fonts, and visual tone
→ Letting the story breathe — no fluff, just intent
→ Editing with their YouTube style in mind, not just "looking good"
