@Bad_Wittch666 They never actually believe it and you should NEVER take it seriously. It's just them trying to make their favorites the only option. Entertaining it is the same as entertaining ragebaiting.

@Bad_Wittch666 That's common anti whistle-blower. Basically they try to shut the opposing ship down by marking it as problematic and making it "morality" question. Basically they hope to make the people scared of admitting they're fans of something in fears of being cancelled/harassed.

@Moonstreuxx @aiboufueled @bogwitchbooks It's a game but Silent Hill 2 (at least original) was phenomenal because the story had unreliable narrator where you don't really know what the main character is about before the shock in the end.

I think only reading stories where you can relate or self-insert can easily block you from critical viewpoint, especially with unreliable narrators that are not meant to be sympathetic but rather shocking where you trusted them and they ended up fooling you.

I’ve been in fandom spaces since 2007. Fandom etiquette was completely different then and so much better. Nobody made hating a ship their entire personality. DNIs didn’t exist because people knew how to block and move on. Proship/anti is stupid and always has been. It’s not real.

@Jakemuller2013 Still my favorite re and I've played all but re0 and re8. No matter what people say, I will defend it. It was the most fun I had, and it gave such amazing character stories for me. Plus it's only Re to ever make me cry... plus it has Jake and the story focus on Ada. 😎❤️

@Justaguyforfun2 @agenderpiers That's like saying Claire isn't the MC of Re2 when she's not only playable character in it. All routes have protagonists in re6 and Ada is arguably at the center of it all. She's just as much protagonist in it as others are.

@Justaguyforfun2 @agenderpiers Just because she's not the only main character, it doesn't mean she isn't a protagonist. You need to play all routes to unlock hers because the plot surrounds her. Once you unlock her route, it is ONLY route played without partner. (Optional partner is possible)
