Nothing like banning books written by Indian authors, published in India, and sold in India and banning it from being read in the "integral part of India" where "normalcy" resides
Greater Kashmir@GreaterKashmir

#JammuAndKashmir | Govt bans publication of 25 books, declares their publication and their copies and other documents to be forfeited to the government. As per the Home department, these books "propagate false narrative and secessionism in J&K".

@KarakMufti @Baloch_sajid6 The Baloch movement isn't as explicitly internationalist today, but during the heyday of thirdworldism it did look towards Palestine, just like almost all revolutionary movements did at the time. See excerpts below from Selig Harrison's In Afhganistan's Shadow 👇

@HakeemWadhela Dear Hakeem. Thank you for this thoughtful response, which I agree with wholeheartedly. The article includes an example of what you mention in your last paragraph, but other examples can and should be mentioned and criticised.

Dear @KarakMufti, The Baloch liberation struggle is a historic, homegrown, and indigenous movement for the freedom of Balochistan. It is not driven by foreign interests, nor is it a tool for any state’s political ambitions. The Baloch National Movement and armed groups like the Baloch Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front do not support, justify, or celebrate the oppression or ethnic cleansing of any nation. Our struggle is rooted in a firm opposition to injustice wherever it occurs. As a people who have endured brutal state violence and systematic suppression for nearly 80 years, we understand the pain of colonization, occupation, and repression. That’s why we oppose such practices not only in Balochistan but anywhere in the world. We hope that in future discussions on international solidarity and resistance movements, you will also highlight the contradictions of those states that claim to support the Palestinian cause while actively participating in the destruction and silencing of indigenous movements like ours.

A Palestinian writer wrote a piece on Israel's attempts to co-opt the Baloch struggle, in which he is asking Palestinians to build a close anti-colonial alliance with Baloch, but dimwits, including ARY, are distorting the message to suit their own agendas.

I never claimed what Wajahat is trying to state in the below tweet and I wholeheartedly reject and condemn ARY's distortion of the article in this way.

@Razarumi Please see added context here. I kindly request that your delete this tweet since it does not clearly include the context of the statement. x.com/KarakMufti/sta…
Abdulla@KarakMufti

@Niaz_Zehri Thank you for your clarification. I also clarified in this tweet that I was referring to a lack of consensus on the issue of the recent declaration of independence, not on the issue of a free or independent Balochistan in its entirety. x.com/KarakMufti/sta…

@KarakMufti Baloch leader Dr. Allah nazar always mentions Palestine in his speeches. This video is from twenty years ago when he was a leader of a student organization. Here he is saying, Our Baloch sisters should play a role in defending their homeland like Leila Khaled

Additionally one would expect a journo who feels emboldened to tweet in English to have basic reading comprehension. To hijack means to attempt to steal something from its rightful owners. It does not imply direct or indirect involvement in the thing, nor does it imply support.

The purpose of the article was to point out that Israeli & Indian propaganda efforts are weak & out of touch, that they do not represent voices on the ground, and that Palestinians should see through the propaganda and build regional anticolonial alliances with the Baloch mvmnt.

@Farhadwbaloc Dear Farhad. Thank you for this thread and your kind invitation, which I humbly accept. I am in agreement with all of your points. I wrote the article as a criticism of Israel for using an irrelevant persona to create a false narrative that only benefits itself.

Dear Abdullah (@KarakMufti), I am deeply disappointed to see a comrade like you misrepresent an indigenous struggle and distorted the meaning of my tweet about fake X accounts. In your piece, you wrote: “Niaz Baloch of the Baloch National Movement, for example, posted on X that there exists no consensus for a declaration of independence among Baloch leaders. Crucially, he also listed four ‘fake accounts’, including that of Mir Yar Baloch, that he stated ‘should be reported and unfollowed immediately’.” I categorically reject the narrative you have presented in your article. At no point whether on or off the record have I ever claimed that the Baloch leadership lacks consensus on the agenda of a free Balochistan. In fact, all Baloch political parties and leaders who are engaged in the freedom struggle are united in their demand for an independent Balochistan. The post you referenced was a response to misinformation circulating on social media, claiming that Balochistan had achieved independence on 14 May 2025. I was simply refuting that false claim. I hope you will take this opportunity to correct the misunderstanding. I am also including the link to my tweet that you cited for your reference. x.com/niaz_zehri/sta…
