No, because he's saying they will just make new companies. They will just find new jobs making games. No, they won't. They will be like phone operators. Replaced. There are no new game companies. All games will be made from an AI assistant you will pay a subscription fee to access. You will pay licensing fees to IP holders. You want to prompt a race game starring Master Chief from Halo and every car is a Chevrolet? That'll be $3.99 for Master Chief and $0.99 per Chevrolet. Sure, there will be a few talented devs that go indie and compete with the AI but that will eventually fail as well. 🤷
