Those who relentlessly attack the GCC on social media should take a moment to reflect. Have some sense of fairness and be ashamed of themselves. If you look around within your own circle your family, relatives, or friends you will undoubtedly find people whose lives have improved because of the opportunities the GCC offered. I believe Khamenei when he said that he considers that cursing Ayesha (RA) is wrong. I have met many shi’ah scholars who have held this position. It’s not a taqiyyah thing. There are some 12er shi’ah scholars who hold cursing of the wives and the first 3 khulafa a reprehensible act (albeit not kufr). However, I have not met a single Shi’ah scholar who doesn’t badmouth Muaweyah. That’s where they all converge.
