Had a great senior season this year even though it didn’t turn out in our favor. Thank you for everything Sedgwick! @SedgwickBSB@NewtonRebels@AmyosportKS

Sedgwick dominates previously undefeated Little River in a highly anticipated matchup with wins of 13-0 and 10-0. Sedgwick moves to 22-0 and has clinched a league championship and #1 Seed in the Marion Regional. Where they may have to face Little River again with a trip to 2-1A State on the line.
Seniors Karston Wall and Corey Crumrine prove they are two of the best players in the state with big performances in the wins. Wall got it done at the plate going 6/7 against solid pitching with 3 home runs and 10 RBI on the night. Crumrine pitched 5 innings with just 2 hits off of him. He had 11 strikeouts on the night and 0 runs scored on him. What makes this even more impressive is Little River has averaged over 15 runs per game this season. What a job by Crumrine to shut them down. #sportsinkansas

While we have an exciting race at the top among the big schools in the northeast corner of the state, the biggest game of the day will be played in a small town north of Wichita - Sedgwick (pop 1581).
The Little River Redskins (18-0) will be heading southeast to face the Sedgwick Cardinals (20-0). Two of the only three undefeated teams remaining are going to put it on the line in what might be the first 2 games of a 3 game series.
The third game would be the biggest, as they both sit on top of the standings of the 2-1A Marion Regional and could potentially face each other with a chance to go to state.
I wanted to give a little extra spotlight to this game, as these teams have earned it.
