Today is a defining moment for MoonPay. For the first time in its nearly 30-year history, the @XGames has granted naming rights. That honor now belongs to @moonpay, as the official title and exclusive financial partner of the MoonPay X Games League. This is not a sponsorship. It is a reimagining. I grew up with the X Games and watched it capture youth culture as it broke into the mainstream. What began as counterculture produced household names like @shaunwhite, @tonyhawk, @TravisPastrana, @nyjah and Eileen Gu (who was named to the @time 100 when I was there in 2022 and is featured on this week's cover of TIME)! Under @JeremyBloom11’s leadership, the renewed focus on athletes, teams and continuity is poised to create the next generation of icons. The MoonPay X Games League transforms these iconic competitions into a year-round, global, team-based league across skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding and freeskiing. This will deliver better economics for athletes, deeper fan engagement and always-on storytelling for a new generation. Before MoonPay, I spent more than two decades at the intersection of media, culture and technology. The lesson learned is simple: enduring companies do not chase culture; they help shape it. This partnership builds on @ivanhodl's long-term vision for our company and reflects MoonPay’s evolution from a crypto on-ramp into a multi-product financial platform built for mainstream adoption.  In its purest sense, this is also a global stage to showcase what modern financial infrastructure looks like when it is designed for culture, not just code. And, it does not stop with us. This platform unlocks meaningful distribution for our incredible partners in the DeFi space as we continue building the MoonPay Network and Operating System with them. Mike Bloomberg once told me: “People remember you for what you do and how you give back to society.” Following that advice, I joined the Board of @newyorkcares - the City's largest volunteer network - and 6 years ago helped launch and Chair Stand with Students, which provides much-needed resources for NYC’s Title I schools - those with the fewest resources and highest needs. Since then I have worked to bridge my passion for Crypto with doing good - something I believe is more present amongst builders within the space than is realized. In 2021, @newyorkcares began to accept Bitcoin for donations and, in 2022, we worked with the @DOEChancellor to raise funds through digital assets. Today, NYC is quickly becoming a home to many Crypto companies and, this year, 17 firms came together under the banner of Crypto for Good to ensure tens of thousands of NYC students at Title I Schools receive tutoring, SAT prep and college guidance.
