So many thoughts during this time. Sadly my Dad has had the virus for a while and as he is diabetic it looks like he may not quite recover from it properly at all. But he has had the best care and support during his time in hospital and I cannot thank the @NHS enough! #NHSheroes

I’ve never really properly understood or appreciated culturally how many people in our family / culture grieve, & Sikh tradition, but now I understood deeply how important those collective mechanisms were, this silence, isolation & lack of collective space to pray / grieve is 💔.

When I was little went on this huge adventure to Hitchen Nagar Keertan walked for hours, I took that much love, sangat & time together for granted, never realising until much later how lucky I was.

It’s selfish isn’t, you were a whole person as well as being my Nani, but that one of your many roles, filled my whole heart and soul for decades.
