Dear Bar Aspirants, I noticed that some of you are struggling with some of the courses being taught to you right now at the Nigerian Law School, but let me tell you today, don't fret, it will get easier with time and these methods I am about to advice you on. 1. Don't read alone, everytime. Get a study group. 2. Attend group meetings. Not all would be productive, so pick your days. 3. Ask your lecturers questions. I remember going to Osamolu, Afolayan, Ononye and even Olowononi's offices. (Not all are receptive but still try.) 4. Record classes and then re-listen to them when you have the time. This would help assimilate better when it is time to reread what you were taught that day. 5. Get PQs and Study Materials. I recommend Cundy Smith, OO Stephens (knew him personally), etc. I heard there are newer ones, so pick. I prefer Cundy smith because of the practicality. He made use of Acronyms, that made recollection easy. If you have Easy Read/Slides, don't over rely on it. 6. If it's not entering, pause and take a short break or nap and return to it. 7. Ask your Seniors Questions. God being so good Legal Twitter is overactive. Even your lecturers (Zion and King Esene) are active here as well. Please tag us or invade dms. 8. Please don't let your whole life depend on books, socialize, and make real connections. 9. Fight ill-health with all you have got, don't manage it. Once you feel the discomfort, treat it. 10. Finally, Eat. You don't have to buy expensive food, but please eat. If you cannot afford Bari Kitchen or Choppers, eat Akwa Best or Mama Ngozi. Rooting heavily for you all. Yours in Law, LTTBB.
