Very excited to share that the musical film Kadhal Reset Repeat has released in cinemas in India and the UK, with the film being shown at Cineworld. I play Amelia Bruce in the film and feel truly honoured to have been part of such a wonderful cast and team. For me personally, it also feels like a very positive start to the year. Alongside the film’s release, I have recently signed with US management, which marks the beginning of a new chapter professionally. One of the great privileges of this project was meeting the remarkable actor M. S. Bhaskar, who became an incredible mentor to me during the shoot. When he wrapped his role he very kindly gifted me a Sai Baba ring, which I will always treasure. I am also grateful for the time we spent together with director Vijay and members of the production team celebrating the wrap of the film over dinner at an Indian restaurant in the city. There are so many memories from the production, including filming in the hills around Loch Lomond where I also stepped in as stunt double for the brilliant lead Jiya Shankar under the guidance of stunt coordinator Nick Khan. The film is also beautifully supported by the music of Harris Jayaraj, whose soundtrack brings so much energy and emotion to the story. Projects like this remind me how special filmmaking can be, bringing together people, places and cultures in unexpected ways. Felt immensely proud to see my former student, Bessie Carter starring alongside her amazing mum, Imelda Staunton in Mrs Warren’s Profession at the #Garrick Theatre. They both brought such a fizzing chemistry to the stage.
