Use MTN's deceased-estates / bereavement channel, in writing.
Push for the faster Master's route if the estate is small.
Escalate if MTN still refuses. (National Consumer Commission, the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, and ICASA)

@vivmulders @MTNza I tried going into a branch to cancel when she was still alive - they won't do it. They wouldn't do it via email either - had to phone in, during weekday office hours. I only saw her on weekends.

@KerryHaggard @MTNza Go into a MTN branch fighting! My son was battling to cancel a contract, he hadn't even received the router, and they were making every excuse under the sun. I demanded the contact details of the CEO and all of a sudden it was quickly canceled!!! Fight!!!

@TuyaAndrew @MTNza There's no debit order. The bank is the same - won't do anything without that executor's letter, which needs to come from the Master of the Supreme Court, where there is a months' long backlog!
